How does the 30 day risk-free trial work?

We know that trying a new product for the first time can sometimes be daunting, this is why we introduced a 30-day risk-free trial offer for first time customers. This means that you can try Modibodi and if for any reason you don’t like the way Modibodi works for you, you are entitled to a full refund on 1 garment for your first time excluding postage. To claim the refund, the items must be returned to Modibodi at the customers’ expense (excluding faults). This offer is for first-time customers/orders only.

 If you have purchased on Clearance, the 30-day risk-free trial will not apply. We’ll ask you to complete a short survey to help us understand the reason for your return, this will need to be completed prior to processing the refund.

How do I claim a refund/store credit under the 30 day risk-free trial?

If you have tried an item, under our 30 day risk-free trial and you do not like the item or it is just not right for you. You can return it by contacting info@modibodi.com.au. Please state that you are a first time customer, and under the 30 day risk-free trial you’d like to request a refund. You will be asked to fill out a short survey and be given a returns form and instructions on how to return your item for a full refund.

As a first-time customer, you may try one Modibodi garment for 30-days risk-free and if you don’t like how they function, we will happily give you your money back. We’ll ask you to complete a short survey to help us understand the reason for your return, this will need to be completed prior to processing the refund. The 30-day risk-free trial applies to one worn garment only.

No further refunds, credits or exchanges can be given on any additional worn underpants and all items below are excluded from the 30-day risk free trial policy:

Can I return a bundle pack?

If you have purchased a bundle pack you will be unable to receive a refund for these items. As they are discounted items, the sale is final.

You may exchange an item from the bundle pack within 30 days of purchase, for a different size in the same style-colour only. These items must be unworn and with protective seal and tag intact.

As a first time customer, you can return one pair of worn underpants from the Bundle Packs under our 30 Day Risk-Free Trial Policy.

What do I do if I have a faulty item?

Modibodi takes extreme care in ensuring our goods are of the highest quality.

However, if for any reason you find a fault with one of our products we would like to help you resolve the problem.

If you have received a product that is deemed faulty we will honour replacements on faulty pairs for up to 60 days post purchase date. This excludes items indicated as not perfect.

We ask you to contact info@modibodi.com.au to notify us of the fault and for further information on seeking a replacement item. Please provide us with a photograph of the faulty item, as well as your order number and which item is faulty. 


What size will I be in Modibodi underwear?

We suggest you choose your usual underwear size, or check out our sizing chart here.

These are exact waist and hip measurements to help guide you, but as with all size charts, these are a recommendation only and will change based on every individual body shape.

The Seamfree range feels too tight. Is the sizing correct?

Yes, the seamfree style is purposely made smaller because the garment will stretch significantly after one wear. Once you wash and wear the seamfree garment you will notice it will mould to your body fitting perfectly.

Are Modibodi garments good to use as a back-up during my periods?

Yes! Especially if you are one of the 1 in 2 women who experience overflow during your periods. Our Modifier Technology™ is moisture wicking, absorbent, stain resistant and is an amazing back up to ensure you never have to experience the humiliation of a menstrual leak.

Are Modibodi products good for light bladder leaks?

Yes! If you are one of the 1 in 3 women that experiences light bladder leaks our patented Modifier Technology™ underpants are a fantastic option for you. They are breathable, antibacterial, super absorbent, leak proof, stain resistant, and wick moisture away from your skin so you feel dry and fresh all day.

Are Modibodi products good for sweat?

Yes! All of our products are great for sweat. They are antibacterial and the top layer is moisture wicking moving sweat away from your skin, so you can feel dry and fresh no matter how hot it gets.

Are Modibodi's maternity garments good for breast milk leaks?

Yes! If you have chosen to breastfeed your baby, then most likely you will experience messy and embarrassing breast milk leaks. Our singlet tops with Modifier Technology™ provide a convenient, comfortable and effective way for you to breastfeed, replacing the need for pesky breast pads. They are breathable, antibacterial, super absorbent, have a leak proof outer layer and wick moisture away from your skin so you feel dry and fresh.

Will Modibodi garments feel different to my current underwear?

The gussets of our patented Modifier Technology™ underpants are super slim (3mm), they will feel only slightly different to your regular underwear. The gussets of our Modifier Air Technology™ underpants feel exactly like your favourite pair of underwear but they will perform so much better. Because most bras already come with extra padding around the bra cups/shelf, you shouldn’t notice any difference in the wear of our maternity singlets with patented Modifier Technology™

Can I wear Modibodi period and leak-proof underwear without addition protection?

Depending on your flow, Modibodi underwear can be a total replacement for disposable feminine hygiene products (panty liners, pads, tampons) OR can work in conjunction with them. It’s all about knowing your flow, and which absorbency level suits you best. You can find out more information on our different absorbency levels here. 

What makes Modibodi underwear better than regular underwear?

Modibodi underwear combines stylishly comfortable designs and state-of-the-art patented fibre technology to give super power protection against life’s annoying but very common unmentionables – sweat, light bladder leaks, menstrual onset, menstrual overflow/spotting, discharge, odour and breast milk leaks. We guarantee your regular underwear cannot do that!

How long will my Modibodi garments last?

Our garments will last for 6 months to 2 years, and this is dependent on the wash and care of the garments. Underwear is considered a delicate product, so the elastic and thread may get damaged with wear and tear. We will guarantee the quality and fabrics for a period of up to six (6) months and will replace faulty garments up until this time if deemed to be a major fault. After this time, it will be classified as general wear and tear. Though wear and tear may appear this will not impact the effectiveness of the Modifier Technology built into the gusset of the undergarments.

If (within the 6 month warranty period) you have purchased an item and believe it is faulty, please contact our Customer Happiness Team at info@modibodi.com.au and provide them with a photograph of the faulty item and notify them that you purchased this item no more than 6 months ago and would like a replacement pair. 

Can I swim in Modibodi underpants?

Whilst Modibodi covers you all day, every day, we recommend against using Modibodi underpants for swimming as they are not designed for water use.

However, we do have a swimwear range suitable for water use for light incontinence and light period days. 

Do Modibodi styles change?

Please be sure to check the size, style and fit of your garments prior to wear, Modibodi products evolve over time and slight changes in design and fit may differ from your previous purchase. How do I know Modibodi underwear and garments will suit me?

Who can wear Modibodi underwear and garments?

All women of all ages, shapes and sizes. We think they are the most comfortable underwear in the world (our customers tell us so!) and whilst they are made to be functional underwear, they are so comfortable and functional, they are ideal to wear everyday of the month!

What is the difference between patented Modifier™ and Modifier Air™ Technology?

Modifier Technology™ is a built-in panty liner. It is moisture wicking, absorbent, leak proof, antibacterial, breathable, and stain resistant, and most importantly it is super comfortable. This patented technology is exclusive to Modibodi, you won’t find it anywhere in the world!

Modifier Air Technology™ uses an antibacterial, one-way moisture wicking gusset that moves moisture away from your skin and keeps you feeling dry and eliminates odour.

Can Modibodi products provide protection for the unexpected arrival of my monthly periods, and/or for the first time arrival of my daughter’s periods?

Yes! Not many women can predict exactly when their periods will arrive, and when it’s your first period, well there’s really no chance of knowing. Modibodi provides you and your daughter a stylish, super comfortable, failsafe way to avoid the most humiliating of circumstances.

Can I purchase Modibodi from any retail stores?

Modibodi Swim

What can Modibodi Swimwear be used for?

Modibodi swimwear is designed for both light periods and bladder leaks. 

Modibodi swimsuits can act as a total replacement for light-moderate sized bladder leaks e.g. those sneezy, cough, unexpected little leaks. 

If you plan to use your Modibodi swimsuit for period protection whilst swimming, they are best used alone on light days and spotting period days. So, if you have a standard period flow then toward the middle to second half of your period cycle. Modibodi swimsuits are also great as a back-up for periods on heavier days, and to prevent leaking on clothes and towels, or worn to prevent getting caught out when you are expecting your period to arrive. Once worn in the water, the garment will become wet inside and out. But, thanks to the quick-drying fabrics we have sourced from our range, you will be dry very quickly upon exiting the water! 

What is Modifier Swim Technology?

While we can’t share our proprietary information on what makes this technology so awesome, our patent pending Modifier Swim Technology comprises of dry-fast water repellent fabric, fights bacteria and odour, catches sneaky leaks and is perfect for light period days! 

Is Modibodi Period and Pee Proof Swimwear eco-friendly?

Glad you asked! Not only are you reducing landfill by not using disposable pads, panty-liners and tampons, our Modibodi Swim range is also vegan! 

For Modibodi Swim's Bikini, can I interchange the top and brief sizes? Can I buy the brief separately?

As the bikini is sold as a set, we are unable to mix and match sizes. However, the great thing is that we have created the Modibodi Swim range in black, so you have the ability to mix the bottom with any bikini top, rashie or singlet top and still be leak-free and protected in and out of the water!

What cup sizes will Modibodi Swimwear fit?

Both styles will accomodate up to a size DD. They also come with removable cup inserts. We have tested our swimsuits for comfort and support on a wide range of bodies and have received wonderful feedback! 

Is Modibodi Swimwear Pool and Beach safe?

We like the waves as much as floating on a pink flamingo in the pool. Yes, our Swim range is beach AND pool safe! 

Is Modibodi Swim UPF rated?

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor and is similar to SPF ratings used in suncreams. Garments with a UPF of 50 only allow 1/50th of the UV radiation falling on the garment to pass through it. The highest UPD rating a garment can be assigned is 50+, a piece in this range is determined as providing “excellent” protection from UV radiation.

What Are Modibodi Products Made Of?

Are Modibodi garments Eco-Friendly/Ethically made?

By choosing to wear our patented Modifier Technology™ garments and replace the need for panty liners you could stop on average close to 1,000 panty liners per year ending in landfill (based on 2 to 3 liners per day). By choosing to wear Modifier Technology™ maternity singlet you could stop on average around 1,000 nursing pads (based on 8 pads per day used for 3 months) ending up in landfill for each child you breastfeed.

Our garments replace the need for disposable hygiene or act as an additional back up instead of using 2 x disposable hygiene products at once. This is great for our environment as we help to reduce the use of disposable hygiene which involves throwing highly chemically treated items into landfill after one use. As long as cared for properly, our garments can be used and worn just as long as regular underwear.

In our Classic, Sensual and Active ranges over 85% of our garment is made from natural fabric such as merino and bamboo.

Modibodi garments can be washed with regular clothing in a laundry bag thus preventing hand washing and the additional waste of water.

Modibodi works closely with a fantastic supplier outside of Australia that comply with Oeko-Tex fair work standards and wages.

What makes Modibodi products anti-bacterial?

Modibodi™ uses high quality natural fabrics and breathable tech-savvy blends (Bamboo, Merino Perform Wool and Microfibers) with the latest in antimicrobial fibres for a soft, silky fit.

The middle layer of our product uses antimicrobial treatment to eliminate bacteria and odour, which is necessary to maintain hygienic freshness. The antimicrobial treatment we use is registered with the Environmental Protection Authority and OEKO-Tek.

The top layer of the garment, however, is naturally antimicrobial and chemical free which is the part of the garment in closest contact with the skin.

Are Modibodi garments made in Australia?

Modibodi is an Australian owned business, our Founder is a female and mother. All of our garments are designed right here in Australia. However, to accommodate the volume of our orders and some of the techniques required, we produce the majority of our garments offshore. Selected styles are still made in Australia.

Does Modibodi offer any vegan options?

Apart from our Modibodi Swim range, we do not currently have any vegan options as Merino Wool is a vital material for our garments.  Merino wool has changed for the better in recent years, reducing the itch and allergy and we have found that customers who were previously allergic to wool or merino have had no issues wearing active merino on their skin.

We do, however, hope to release a vegan range in the near future.  Stay posted! 

Caring For Your Garments

Are Modibodi garments stain resistant?

They sure are! Bleach free zone here. Our patented technology means every leak and odour is absorbed and won’t leak through! however, like most fabric, over time light staining might occur.

How do I care for my garments?

Modibodi underwear is machine washable. Preferably a gentle, cold machine wash and hang to dry for a sunkissed feel. 

Quick Tips:

  1. Hang your maternity singlet from the bra straps to avoid stretching the fabric 
  2. Use a laundry bag to wash your Modibodi garments. Natural fibres wash well, but don’t like zippers! 
  3. No fabric softeners and strong detergents eg. stain removers, please! It breaks down the hi-tech function of our garments and also reduces the durability of the fabrics and trims, so they won’t last as long. 
  4. Once dry, store your Modibodi garents in a dry laundry bag for extra protection (just like your winter jumpers) – as they are made from natural fibres such as wool, little nasty bugs such as silverfish do like to take a bite!

Will my Modibodi garments smell?

No, if cared for correctly, your Modibodi garments won’t smell.  But if you do notice a strong smell using Modibodi underwear, you could be suffering from a vaginal infection like Bacterial Vaginosis or a Yeast Infection. These condition are common in those who’ve previously used disposable menstrual products, especially tampons. Don’t worry! There are many natural ways to establish a healthy bacterial balance. Chat to your health care provider for more information. 

If left soaking for more than a few hours, your underwear can end up smelling mildewy and musty. Same goes for storing your underwear in a damp place or sealed in a plastic bag for a long time. But don’t worry – all you have to do is add a little vinegar and wash again!

Can I cancel my order?

All of our orders are dispatched by 10 am EST every day. If your order has not been dispatched, and you are wanting to cancel your order we can do this if your order was paid by Paypal or credit card. However, if you placed an order and paid via Afterpay we are unable to cancel your order due to the large non-refundable fees charged by Afterpay to us.

Can I change the items in my order?

All of our orders are dispatched by 10 am EST every day. If your order has not been dispatched, and you are wanting to change your order, we will only be able to cancel your order so you can redo the order, however cannot guarantee items will be in stock.

If you discover that you have made a mistake with your order, please contact our Customer Happiness Team immediately at info@modibodi.com.au However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to amend your order in accordance with your instructions.

How do I pre-order an item?

We now have a pre-order option available on our website for some of our products! When you click on an out of stock item, you will be given the option to pre-order this item.  If you choose do to this, your pre-ordered item will be sent out as soon as we receive the stock. When our new stock arrives, you will receive an email notifying you that your item has been shipped.

*Please Note* If you have other items in your order, this items will not be sent out until your pre-order item is ready to be shipped. It is a possibility that by the time your pre-ordered item arrives, your other items could be out of stock. 

What is a pre-order?

Modibodi is growing more and more popular, and sometimes we run out of stock of particular items. A pre-order allows you to place your order and then you will receive the out of stock item as soon as our stock arrives.  

How can I track the progress of my order?

We will email you as soon as your order is placed and processed, and then again when your item has been shipped. If you do not receive these emails, please contact our Customer Happiness Team at info@modibodi.com.au so they can investigate further and get you the information you need.

What do I do if my favourite Modibodi style and size is out of stock?

Modibodi has been so popular that some of your favourite styles, colours and sizes are out of stock. We receive new stock each month. If you would like to join our waitlist for priority access to our next shipment, you can add yourself by clicking the ‘Add To Waitlist’ button when you click on an item that is out of stock. Just enter your email address, and we’ll let you know as soon as our stock arrives! 

What do I do if I receive an incorrect item/order?

If you receive an incorrect item or order, please contact info@modibodi.com.au to notify us of the issue. You have up to 30 days’ post purchase date to advise us that you have received an incorrect item or order.

We deliver to all addresses nationwide in Australia on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Orders placed on weekends and public holidays will be dispatched following business day.

Estimated time for standard delivery to metro areas is 3-5 business days (includes packing and posting) and 5-7 days to regional areas. Express post delivery is usually 1-2 business days to metro areas and 3-5 for regional areas. Please view Australia Post website for more accurate delivery times. The shipping timeframes are a guide only and we offer no guarantees or refunds on postage should Australia Post delay the shipment. We are also unable to lodge requests on the customers behalf should delays occur. If a parcel does go missing and you are unable to locate you parcel via Australia Post, we ask you to contact customer service on info@modibodi.com.au

We use DHL Express Shipping and if we are in stock of all your goods, estimated delivery time is around 3-5 business days (includes packing and postage).

Modibodi offers FREE International Shipping on orders over $200AUD/$100USD to most countries. If you are eligible for free shipping it will be automatically applied at Checkout.

Due to the trade agreement between Australia and the USA, American customers will not be required to pay any additional fees or taxes, only the cost of shipping as calculated at Checkout. New Zealand customers will only be charged additional taxes if their spend is over AUD$400. All other international customers may be required to pay additional VAT or taxes upon receiving the goods in your country. Please check with relevant Government Agencies prior to purchasing our products to ensure you are aware of the additional costs. Should you reject paying for these fees/taxes and your goods are returned you will need to cover the shipping costs, the costs charged to us for return shipping and any additional charges applied by the shipping carrier.

What do I need to know about customs, charges and duties?

As we are an Australian business, duties and charges made by your country’s Customs Service once it has reached its destination must be paid by the recipient and not by Modibodi. We are not responsible for and will not reimburse any charges or duties. You can find out more information here.

Can I track my package?

Once you’ve placed an order, you will receive emails notifying you of the movement of your order. This includes a notification that your order has been shipped. If you believe your item should have already arrived and it has not, please contact info@modibodi.com.au

Does Modibodi offer any coupons, promotions or discounts on Modibodi garments?

At times Modibodi may run sales or offer coupons to purchase our garments. Coupons cannot be applied to already bundled, discounted or sale products or combined with another offer or promotion. We may also specify certain items that the coupon applies or excludes, so be sure to read the terms of that offer closely. Coupons and discounts, bundle offers and special promotions cannot be applied retrospectively and must be applied at the time of purchase.

How do I apply a discount/coupon code?

Before proceeding to the checkout, you will see a summary page. This will show you your items and the total of your order. There is a little box below the ‘proceed to checkout button’ labelled ‘Coupon’.  Type your coupon code in here to apply it to your order. Please note that discount codes cannot be stacked and discount codes can only be used once per customer.

I forgot to apply my coupon code! What can I do?

If you realise that you have forgotten your coupon code, please contact info@modibodi.com.au immediately. 

Unfortunately, we are unable to apply a coupon code once an order has been placed. 

However, granted your item has not already been shipped, our customer service team can cancel your order and process for store credit to be applied to your account so you can place your order again.

Can I pay with a credit card?

This depends on your location. We have a Paypal only payment gateway for US customers. This is to ensure seller and buyer protection against fraud. However, you can use your credit card via Paypal.

Does Modibodi accept Afterpay?

What is the Give A Pair initiative?

Domestic and family violence is the principle cause of homelessness for women and their children in Australia. There are thousands of women and young girls living in shelters across Australia, who have little money and consequently cannot afford to purchase feminine hygiene products that most of us take for granted. These women and girls are forced to protect themselves from their monthly period and/or bladder weakness with bits of newspaper, or bulky rags.

Modibodi’s Give a Pair Program aims to provide these women with Modibodi underwear that is sustainable and reusable to empower these women at the times they need it.

What is NDIS and am I eligible?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for Australians with disability, their families and carers. The NDIS supports people with disability to build skills and capability so they can participate in the community and employment.

What is CAPS and am I eligible?

The Continence Aids Payment Scheme (CAPS) is an Australian Government scheme that provides a payment to assist eligible people who have permanent and severe incontinence to meet some of the cost of their continence products.
