CEO and Modibodi™ founder Kristy Chong has been awarded NSW Business Woman of the Year in the 2018 at a gala reception to celebrate International Women's Day.

With hundreds of entrants, a panel of leading NSW women selected Kristy as the winner from four finalists. The NSW Business Woman of the Year Award recognises excellence in business in NSW and women who provide outstanding leadership and inspiration for other women to succeed. Minister for Women Tanya Davies (pictured with Kristy above) said the NSW Women of the Year Awards support the NSW Government’s commitment to building an equitable, inclusive and safe society where all women are valued and respected.

“The Awards are an important opportunity to acknowledge women who are driving societal change through their passions and purpose. Kristy is truly an inspiration to ambitious women wanting to make a real difference in the vital field of women’s health.” - Minister Tanya Davies

Kristy’s vision is to build a brand that makes the world better by empowering every bodi to make real, positive change.

"I have always been driven to achieve, but I never ever dreamed that I would one day receive an accolade of this kind, and so I am both humbled and honoured. The award reminds me that what my team and I have achieved and what I stand for in business is something to be really proud of. So we will continue to empower women, reduce impact to our landfill and waterways, break down taboos around menstruation and incontinence, and promote body positivity through the use of real, non-photoshopped women in our advertising campaigns." - Kristy Chong

The event was held in the presence of His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales and Mrs Hurley. The Premier, the Hon. Gladys Berejiklian MP, Minister for Women, the Hon. Tanya Davies and Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, the Hon. Sarah Mitchell MLC joined for the ceremony.
